過去の業績や成果にこだわる人がいます。決して悪いことではないのですが、その成果を出したやり方が現代に通用するかどうかはわかりません。もしかしたら時代遅れになっているかもしれません。

現在の自分は過去の経験や成果の上に成り立っていることは確かです。
しかし過去の「栄光」だけにとらわれていると現状を見失い自身のアップデートができず自身の成長につながらないばかりか、マーケットからも取り残されてしまう可能性が高くなります。

また、現状の今からこの瞬間は、次の未来をつくる瞬間でもあります。つまり現状は、瞬間瞬間で過ぎ去っていき、過去になります。

過去をベースに今の自分があることを意識しつつ未来志向で現状を捉えていかないと、トレンドのキャッチアップや自身のアップデートにつながらず、結局は世間から取り残される可能性が高くなります。

そのような状況で、過去の「栄光」だけにすがっても、「時代遅れ」と評されて、誰からも相手にはされません。
未来志向をベースに自身の過去を振り返るのは良いかと思いますが、過去の「栄光」だけにすがるのは自身の成長にはつながらず、未来志向にはつながらないと認識すべきだと思います。

There are certain people who tend to fixate on past achievements and successes, I know.
While this is not bad, the methods that led to those accomplishments may not necessarily be applicable in today's context.In this case, there will be some possibility that they have become outdated.

Certainly, our present selves are built upon past experiences and achievements. It’s true, I know.
However, clinging solely to past "glory" can lead to losing sight of the current situation.

This not only hinders personal growth and self-update but also increases the likelihood of being left behind in the current market. Moreover, the current moment is creating the next future. In other words, the present is constantly passing and becoming the past.

To avoid being left behind, it's crucial to be conscious of the fact that our present selves are based on the past while embracing a future-oriented perspective.
While reflecting on our past with a future-oriented mindset is commendable, relying solely on past "glory" does not contribute to personal growth.
And is not aligned with a forward-looking approach.

Clinging to past "glory" in such circumstances may lead to being labeled as "outdated" and ignored by others.
It is essential to recognize that a future-oriented approach, rather than clinging to past "glory,"
is the key to personal growth and relevance in the ever-changing landscape, I strongly believe.
